Our
stud females are run under commercial conditions and "ride
the seasons", which recently have been the driest for 120 years
throughout Western Australia.
They
must be functional and efficient - that is, structurally
sound, a moderate frame (frame 5-6), highly fertile, with well above
average performance traits (growth, milk and carcase), with excellent
temperaments.
Our cow herd average on Group Breedplan 2001 is ranked in the
top 5-10% of the breed for milk, 200, 400, 600 day growth and carcase
weight.
Our
females speak for themselves - Grand Champion Female Perth
Royal Show in 1993, 1994, 1995 & 1998. (none shown in 1996,
1997 & 2000).
Females
sold through our annual sales produced the Junior Champion MG Female
and Reserve Champion MG Bull at the 2000 Perth Royal Show. The Junior
and Grand Champion Bull, Perth Royal Show 1998, was sold through
our Annual Sale as was the Reserve Senior Champion Female, Perth
Royal 1998.
We
have strived for a broad genetic base and a few of our female
family lines are pictured.
