News Semen to NZ - 15/3/03 Semen from two of our well-known sires,
Monterey Starlight and Monterey Majestic Lad, has been recently
exported to New Zealand. Ross and Corrine Kearney, “Okaharau”
Murray Grey Stud, Hawkes Bay, purchased semen in both bulls with
NZ marketing rights for 12 months. The Okaharau stud is one of the
leading Murray Grey Herds in New Zealand. The Kearneys visited us
mid-winter and inspected both bulls out in their mating mobs. They
were seeking new performance genetics and were impressed with both
sires and their progeny.  Monterey Starlight The 10th annual Monterey
Production Sale sent records tumbling, producing a West Australian,
National and World Record for an annual production sale in the Murray
Grey Breed.  New Property - 01/01/02 We have recently purchased Scott River Springs, a large, picturesque, 1536 acre grazing property with 4 km frontage to the Scott River. This will enable us to consolidate our breeding herds, both Grey and Black, and allow for further expansion in the future.
